Time in Singapore drawing to a close...

Tomorrow is my last full day in the island/city/state for, what I anticipate will be, quite a while. So I've been reflecting a little bit on my experience here and how I feel about the island.

Well firstly, thanks to all the peeps who hung out with me here and shared a little bit of themselves with me. Thanks to the old friends and the new friends, I hope we can keep in touch through this electronic medium (blogging, msning, google talk, facebook, friendster, etc.) and see each other again some time, some place.

I would also like to thank Starbucks, I feel I have gotten to know this multinational conglomerate very well. I now have friends online asking me 'which starbucks are you in now?' hah. As I said before, coffee chains are the only place in Singapore that one can get an espresso (as they have no quaint cafe culture like back home... either coffee chains or ultra-sweet Kopi) and they also happen to have wireless internet connections. This combination made the place very attractive, and despite my opposition to the coffee chain in the past, I've grown to love the comfortable couches, soft decor, sweet milkiness and soothing jazz. Dammit. I've been sucked in.

I'll be posting later about some experiences I've had here that make me smile. Gotta run now, going to check out the new Cafe del Mar on Sentosa (first time there, heh).

Also, I've been selected for MC in Bahrain as VPPD. :D:D:D:D I am very happy (not as 'happy' as Lucy but that's another story, hey Luce). More on that later. :)
